He's got faster hands than Mayweather and Calzaghe, but if you take his handspeed away there isn't much left to be desired.

He has poor positional sense, no defence, fails to plant his feet well, etc. His trainer is a former world kickboxing champion, Oliver Harrison, so that probably explains Khan's poor footwork in boxing. This Oliver Harrison guy, he hasn't done **** as a boxing trainer in his life.

Basically, Khan is over-hyped IMO and I believe that darkhorse John O'Donnell is the one to watch. I believe O'Donnell can beat Khan.

watch some of his fights here:

      Amir Khan vs. Jackson Williams

      Amir Khan vs. David Bailey

      Amir Khan vs Vitali Martynov
      http://www.**********.com/?d=QOFTGSBX

Amir Khan has good fundamentals (well, being an Olympian), blurring handspeed, footwork is not that bad IMO. He'll improve as he gets more fights along the way.

Very good point. I think its a case of Harrison possibly looking to use Khans natural talent as a some sort of springboard for his own career. The "I trained Khan, so that will increase my reputation as I trainer" tag. I'm sure as Khan will probably dump Harrison later on in his career.

A good fight for Kahn at the moment would be Scotlands undefeated Light-Welter Barry Morrison

Barry is coming off a cracking win over Englands Dean Hickman and if im honest looks as though he might go on to great things.

Look how young Khan is and hes only had 6 Pro fights yet he fought good opponents only for his level because he just started fighting, normally guys fight people who have records like 0-0 or 0-1 or 3-12...but Khans last 2 fights were against someone who was 10-1 (8 KO's), and 12-3...now his next fight is against someone whos record is 24 wins and 10 losses with 11 wins coming from Knockouts, I think Frank Warren is doing a great jon, and handling him well, once Khan has over 20 pro fights i think he will fight atleast B level fighters
