Did Mayweather retire to avoid the hot ww division?

He "retired" (the quotation marks are because I think it's obvious he'll be back for #50) because he's pushing 40 and there's really nothing else left to prove. He beat nearly everyone there was to beat. I'd love to see GGG knock him out, but let's be honest, that would just be another Canelo fight where Floyd is too quick and elusive for the bigger and stronger fighter that everyone thinks would demolish him. I don't see anyone out there in the field right now that could probably realistically challenge or beat him.
Regardless, his age is almost irrelevant, he's still incredibly quick in the ring and highly skilled, what people are jabbering about as far as saying he's "faded" or "shot", I don't know. He was still in tip top form in his last two fights with Pacquiao and Berto.Comment

It doesnt matter a jot how many naive casual fans this dude has made his money off, what impresses me more is skills and entertainment.
Floyd was great value up to a point, but pretty much all his fights since Hatton have been a dull waltz against past primes.Comment

There's still nothing funny about what I said lol. Larry is one of if not the biggest Floyd fan, and he's making all these troll threads just spamming the placeLook at your post history and you will find your answer. Aren't you generally one of the first posters to chime In on just about every post pertaining to Pacquiao? Are your posts 99.9% of the time negative? Why do you make a point to be one of the first to post In threads pertaining to a fighter that you despise If you are not trolling?Comment
