Joins pretty good company. Ali, Frazier, Leonard, Holyfield, Pacquiao, Mayweather are only 3x BWAA Fighter of the Year winners.

This is like the BWA saying it's fine to break the rules. Pathetic.
And that kind of stuff truly hurts the credibility of the sport. No way any real boxing fan would accept that.

      Especially if they're paid off.

Speaking of Wilder, even his performance against Stiverne was better than Floyd's against Pacquiao.

        Wow! Cheers!! Amazing!

Behold the gold plated chicken feet in all its glory!

And the chicken trophy award for the best hugger in the game goes to..

        Floyd Mayweather! Applause! Applause! Applause!

Floyd: I dedicate this award to all who have supported my chicken ways. Without you I won't be here to receive this chicken feet award. I'm truly blessed.

Floyd deserves it, he made the most money in boxing history off this Pacquiao fight.. He beat a cheater!

Manny Pedquiao should be grateful that Floyd chose him

Floyd is a fantastic fighter, and he had a good year, a commendable year, but it's just not bigger than what Fury did. I can't even find the logic. Marquez knocks Pacquiao clean out in under 6 and doesn't get the votes, but because Floyd is retiring, his 12 rounds of cat pawing have more meaning three years later? This was a pity vote. What's next, we gonna give Lara more credit for beating Rodriguez than Cotto cause it went longer? Tyson Fury beat the long reigning heavyweight champ, stop overlooking this man because he's unconventional. It's plain as day, he's being punished for being outlandish, for going against the grain, but is that worse than getting TUEs weeks later? Marquez gotta be shaking his head right now.

Floyd Snr or Peter Fury should've got trainer of the year.

Marquez was robbed in 2012. They gave it to Donaire based on activity. He did win RING Fighter of the Year though. Fury won RING this year too.

There wasn't really a clear cut fighter of the year. I didn't think Floyd was even in the running but I guess they played it safe since Fury, etc would have been just as controversial.

Personally I think a Wladimir who hadn't lost in 10 years was more impressive than a Pacquaio who has gone 3-3 since 2012. Their other wins were contract fillers.
