Comments Thread For: Evander Holyfield Backs Tyson Fury: He Has Helped Boxing

This big lumbering stiff is a KO waiting to happen.

Dude got dropped and had jelly legs against a career cruiserweight. if Steve Cunningham was 25 pounds heavier, a little bit faster, with a tad better footwork and hand speed, and just a little more power and a slightly better chin and a couple of inches here and there of reach and height.... Tyson Fury career would be over and he would of gotten KTFO'd easily.

Fury saved the heavyweight division and is amazing for boxing. Here's hoping he doesn't blow it in the rematch.

Fury opened the gates.. but I'm still eager to see the rematch where Wlad will come in with nothing to lose. I have a feeling if Wlad avenges his loss.. Fury will probably quit boxing or fight a popular british boxer like Joshua then call it good.

How has Fury helped boxing? He put on the most boring performance of the year. Now I'm no expert on Furys career. The only fight I've seen is the Wlad fight, but from what I've seen his reign as champ won't last long.

Well, he beat a SUPER champion who had 18 straight title defences. Fury dominated Now there's new blood flowing in the division, Charles Martin, Wilder, Fury instead of boring ass Klitschko. Wait til Hughie Fury arrives it's all great for boxing

It's hard to believe some of the comments you hear. Fury dominated a SUPER champion who had 18 straight title defences, and won in Germany, not much of an accomplishment? Real deal Holyfield seems to know this, i would say that's a credible witness

I'd like to think you were talking about Wilder here, but better footwork??
