Amir Khan is the 3rd most popular fighter in Boxing after Mayweather and Pacquiao. Numbers don't lie: Look at his social media following. It's the 3rd highest for a boxer. He brings a unique set of loyal fans:
1. UK (population 65 Million)
2. Pakistan (population 200 Million)
3. Middle East (population 200 Million)
The PPV with Canelo will prove his appeal. It will sell at least 1 Million PPV buys. After the Canelo fight, Khan will cement himself as a PPV Superstar.

1. Floyd Mayweather Jr. (did a poll online b/w Khan and Maidana. Khan won. Mayweather picks Maidana who brings less money. And then shamefully fights Berto).
2. Manny Pacquiao (picks Bradley 3 even though Khan brings way more money than Bradley).
Khan had signed the contract on his side for the Mayweather and Pacquiao bouts. Khan put his career on hold, and waited for months for Pacquiao and Mayweather. In the end, Pacquiao and Mayweather picked different opponents (Maidana, Berto, Bradley) for much less money.
