I can't imagine him fighting GGG as his first legit MW fight. The bigger question is what is the WBC going to do.

Canelo will fight at 155 until he can't physically fight at 155/154; if Golovkin refuses to fight at 155, Alvarez waits on the WBC to act and if they strip him, he hands over the belt, and goes after some other organization's belt.

He has no incentive to give Golovkin anything at this point.

The thing that people are getting wrong though, is that WBC did nothing, they enforced GBP/Canelo to make an agreement with K2/GGG if they'e not going to fight him. WBC said it's up K2/GGG. Canelo/GBP offered them step aside money, like Cotto gave them $850k or whatever, to step aside. Canelo gave them step aside money, they had an agreement. It wasn't the WBC, even though they are corrupted crooks, in this case it actually was not them. This was all agreed upon by K2 and GBP. You don't see Loeffler saing anything do you? They're silent cause they had an greement, they took their step aside money, and they will fight another time. The only one's talking about ducking and all that are fans.

What Canelo has been doing is an insult to the history of one of the most prestigious divisions in the sport. It's an embarrassing beyond belief. I wonder what Hagler or HEarns make of this crap.

Pretty much. I can see him dropping the wbc and fighting for the vacant wbc 154 strap or even fighting Saunders or Jacobs.

No watch and see . When Canelo beats Khan. He will fight Pacquaio , if Manny beats Bradley. Watch and see. In September. Oscar has been working with Bob more and Oscar did say let the GGG fight marinate for awhile.
