    Good point.

well he's like a father to the kid and has said plenty of times that he doesnt like putting him in any fights...he's not just some trainer that met him at 24 and said "yea ill train you"..but regardless it told ppl ward would have the final say and you see that he did..he's not fightin a tune up he's fight a guy with a hell of a background and a jr gold medal and a unblemished pro record...
but it is fair to let ward get his feet back wet...
GGG shoulde have took the fight while his feet were dry it would have been even..bc ggg goes up in weight and ward comes out of a retirement bascially off injury

but for ward to go up in weight, off injury, and off a layoff vs a guy who has been active just wouldnt be right for any fighter let alone one we are banking on to be in a great fight for the fans..

How do you know it was Hunter that pushed for the Canelo fight? I always thought Khan, his father and Haymon made those type of decisions. Besides, even if Hunter was against the fight I doubt he'd admit it to the media.

At first I thought this was a wacko fight. And I still do to a point. Odds are big that Canelo catches Khan and stops him mid rounds. But really, with Khan's speed and boxing ability, and as much as Floydie vexed Canelo with that, this could be an interesting matchup. I just hope it isn't a blowout, that Khan can at least get some good work done and show some heart and determination.
