He's been iced by a guy like Prescott in a Round, look at him now. So, Canelo icing him in a round won't be end of the World. He will walk in to Brook fight for a World title. This time the split won't be 80-20...........just 60-40.
Well it was never 80-20 and would never be it. But Khan's pull will also be measured in this fight. Is he as big as he thinks? Will it do more than Canelo-Cotto? Or canelo vs lara even? that'll be interesting.
Also, if Brook in the meantime fights a Bradley or a Garcia and wins. It could change the landscape completely.
But even at 50-50, Khan would probably still take a bigger payday than what he's getting to fight Canelo. Remember, Canelo only made $5million vs Cotto. So how big is the pie really?
Canelo isn't the humongous star that Oscar lays out anyway. His PPV numbers have been pretty bad when not matched with a huge star like Mayweather or Cotto. So it'll be interesting to see.
But yeah, win win for sure - Assuming he doesn't get damaged. Because there's nothing to gain from that.

This is a top fight sure. But it's still not the fight people want to see. and that's the bottom line.

So sad. Low expectation Khan fans happy either way. Like when special kids get a toy for full attendance.

Khan has put himself in a win-win situation by taking on the near impossible. How can one be upset if he loses by daring to be great? Plus he can come back and walk in to big fights again. Ummm nvm you wouldn't understand, the guy in your avi was finished after just one loss.Last edited by Box-Office; 02-04-2016, 02:42 AM.

By levels I mean opposition. Win/Lose Khan is operating on another planet.
Canelo made $5 mil cuz he gave sh.it loads away just to get Cotto out of NY if you remember that Animalistic guy made that thread.
You know it would be great if Brook fought a great opponent and won. He really does need to sign with a US promoter. This isn't working out.
