Where have you been? Since the fight was announced this place has been flooded with haters making their comments about the fight.

Even though it's a stay busy fight before the GGG fight, people here can't wait to jump at Nelo for anything he does.
Had he chosen Lemieux for his opponents people would say he is only taking GGG's left overs. Dude has one of the most solid resumes in boxing, yet people chose a stay busy fight to call him a puzzy. It's unbelievable to me.
Will NEVER happen, not at least this year or next. You don't fight Khan to prepare for that fight.

I was a Canelo fan (not a big one) until today. He's a real *****, plain and simple.

Can you blame him for wanting to get paid?
Stay busy fight before a monster like GGG, and with his resume of constantly fighting tough fights I don't blame Canelo for taking this fight.

Plus this is a stay busy fight for him. If you're going to have a stay busy fight before fighting a monster like GGG, wouldn't it make sense to make a fight that can make you a lot of money? Khan makes him more money that Rosado.
Financially wise I don't have an argument. This fight will sell, casuals don't care about weight. Khan and Ginger will make money.

But in no way does this prepare him for Gennady.

It's not going to prepare him for GGG. I mean what fighter can prepare him for GGG? Rosado sure wouldn't do it.
It's simply a stay busy fight for lots of money. Remember if he gets absolutely destroyed by GGG, (which is always a possibility) there is a possibility he won't have any more big money fights. Might as well capitalize now.

How do you feel about this fight?
I'm not to keen on it. I feel it's a waste of Canelo's time. But I realistically look at his options...slim pickings....

It's not like they can just sign off to fight Martin Murray and all is well...

Canelo is in a bad spot, every fight has to have a big name. It's GGG or bust at this point....Khan is atleast a big enough name to buy some time.

To be frank with you, I'd take Stevens or Lemieux before this, if he's planning to fight his mandatory in Sept. I'll bet you all my points that he won't. You in?
