Brook and Hearn must realise by now that Khan will never fight Brook his ducking him big time.

The Khan and Canelo fight which I must admit took me by surprise just as much as anyone. There is so much wrong with that fight for a few reasons - firstly Khan has never had a fight at middleweight so why should he get a world title fight ahead of any legit middleweight the WBC should not be sanctioning this fight at all. Khan has really been so inactive in the past years its a joke his getting in front of the que. Khan could not stand up to Garcia's power and Canelo a bigger and stronger fighter than Garcia will put him to sleep. If his comning in at 165lbs as he said in another article then his speed diminishes and he will fall into Canelo's game plan. - is Khan using this as his last fight and then retiring it all depends on the amount of money his receiving for this fight and if his getting the a slice of the pay per view money. Khan couldn't get his retirement money after Floyd never gifted him the fight so this may be the last fight we wait and see.

I think its a valid question.

In fact, it was asked multiple times on here as soon as it was announced. Is Khan looking for the biggest fight available with retirement in mind? It's a strange, strange decision from him and his team.

Still, he's signed himself into an extremely dangerous fight regardless of the reason. He's going to take some major punishment and likely get badly stopped so whatever his motivation is, it's ballsy.

Khan could be cashing out forever in a beheading-good

Khan will go out worse than James Kirkland went out by Canelo's power which is deserving of the unwanted Amir rear end Khan. All those better more deserving contenders at 154lbs and 160lbs who were ignored by Canelo is a disgrace to all boxing. Picking a non title nothing 2 weight classes below is a sham and a farce.

ya this pretty much killed the khan is scared of brook or any other fighter for that matter threads and sentiment. im not a fan of khan at all some have even called me a hater lol but this fight proves he really was doing what hes been saying he was and that being the reason he hasnt signed for certain fights is he was looking for the best out there.

got give khan respect where its due and hes got major guts taking this fight. granted its somewhat of a win win for him as long as he doesnt get knocked out in first round or 2 if he makes it even somewhat competitive then his stock will sky rocket. if he somehow pulls off the upset it might just turn him into the ppv star he always dreamed of and thought he could be.

Like poster above me said, its all wins for khan. Biggest payday hes been looking for for years, if he lose who cares he just upped his name and can go fight brook anyways and another payday, if he wins hes the king of boxing hell he even becomes the A-Side to Mayweather, Mayweather will have to accept his stipulations.

Big Risk and a Huge Reward for khan, be dumb not to take his shot.

Can he get hurt, yea but anyone can get hurt in anyfight.
I totally agree, its a risk worth taking and anyone who has a true desire to be great and put themselves in a position to grab the spot light in a major way and make tons of money would take this fight. Its a no brainer for Khan.

Now do I think Khan will win, no, but if he somehow pulled out a grand slam and won then he would have the boxing world on his shoulders

He had a chance to fight Rios, he refused

If he wants the big fights he has to be willing to travel like Khan did, like Degale is doing. You are in control of your own destiny

Khan took the risks, and sometimes they didnt pay off, but because he took these risks, he has more opportunities than Brook

Khan doesnt owe Brook a living
I like your style! Why was Brook considering Rios and not Bradley in the 1st place?

All Khan has to do is fight safe at a distance and take his L on his two feet, people will start believing his chin is better and it won't decrease his stock none to go 12 rounds with Canelo...now if he gets popped...

Brook should fight danny garcia in the summer, khans out the picture for both, danny wants a unification, its a very good fight for the fans, both undefeated champions and if brook can pull it off he has something to use against khan.
Khan v cotto at 154 would have been a more competitive fight, this one? Canelos simply too big too stong, he dealt with a slick boxer mover in lara who had a 3.5 inch reach advantage over him so khan aint gonna be no threat.
