Oscar and GBP approached Khan first, Canelo took this fight as a favour for Oscar as he's trying to re-sign Khan to GBP. He gives Khan the mega PPV fight he's always wanted and gives Canelo a low risk high reward fight (financially speaking). Desperation of Khan and GBP is what made this fight happen!

It is always known that Canelo has the final say in who he is fighting. Oscar would have never allowed the Lara fight. Canelo wanted it.

Canelo was daring to be great until he realized what a monster GGG is.

Now Canelo is trying to show everyone that he is in fact a small dude who is fighting welterweights, so people will not force him to fight GGG.

Canelo wanted the Khan fight. Khan is rather tall and might look as big as Canelo in the buildup with clothes on. Easy payday for Canelo and he is further moving away from GGG.

Well ladies, this is what you asked for. The problem is Canelo is the closest thing to a star boxing has right now, and the MW division is cluttered with guys who shouldn't even be in the same room as Canelo, bar GGG. With that being said, they have to drag boxers with names from all over just to appease now.

He just sold 900K there no rush to fight somebody who barly sold 150k this is a money fight and khan bring money no matter what divion he fight in he usally the A side these guys are bigger then belts..... especially the middle weight belt

GGG need to fight names he cant keep fight the geal,rubios and lumax of the worlds and keep expecting the floyd cotto and conelos
