It's a **** fight and Canelo is truly a coward, but I think it will do well. Somewhere around 500K.

This is a good fight for casual fans.

It would suck for GGG to see Canelo lose but at the same time I'd piss my pants laughing if Canelo loses to Khan.
I don't see it being bad for GGG, because of now... At middleweight, Khan has the only b@lls to fight a GGG like fighter. Wise of Laughing at Canelo if he lost, you'd have to be a complete idiotic fan boy not to Laugh.

Also I don't see Khan planting his feet, he will try his hardest to perform the way Mayweather did against Canelo or like Lara but in a more definitive way. I say it now, Khan will be moving and moving 12 rounds out of 12. That isn't good for Canelo though, he will need to close of the ring more effectively and use his weight/power to move Khan were he needs him.

If Canelo-Cotto did over a million, why are people on here so quick to claim is will do worse. Khan seems to be a much bigger name internationally than Cotto.

500-600 probably, but you never know. Hard to predict how Khan's name recognition will translate to sales.

Believe me some NSB fans don't understand weight classes eigher... they think that the MW lineal title should be discussed at a 155 CW.

I'll go 650k in the US, which would be a successful event given the mismatch.

It could also do an extra 200k plus buys in the UK is Sky Sports give it proper marketing.

100 % agree, some also think that weight classes are defined by how much you weight on fight night, its ridiculous ...

Probably between 400-600k, neither are huge draws in the US.

Has it been confirmed for Sky PPV yet? I have a hard time believing many will stay up until 6 in the morning for a paid fight with a guy who's fought once on Sky in the last 3-4 years.

Won't have the matchroom propoganda machine behind it either.
