The only 2 people canelo could have fought without being criticized is lara and 3g.

3g will happen but not until next cinco de mayo.

Lara is a last resort or a mandatory type fight. He already did it once, didn't make a ton of money, and got the victory by the most boring and narrowest of margins.

He beats anyone not named lara on that list and takes some sort of heat for fighting them.

Honestly, no. I have never thought about a fight where one fighter is more tailor-made for the other than Rosado is for Canelo.
I'd see Rosado landing ten punches the whole fight and getting destroyed.
