I think this whole situation with Khan today just ends the discussion of if Khan is a high functioning ******. Well the ****** part is anyway. I think its still disputable he's a high functioning one, cuz I don't think a high functioning ****** would sign to fight Canelo if he was in Khan's position.

canelo proved against lara you cant just dance around, he cut the ring off and battered laras ribs...vs floyd he was drained that played a role in that fight. .khan best hope is turn this into a clinch fest, shoot combos then hug him. but damn if Algieri walked through him, canelo is a tank..this can get ugly

Khan can study all he wants but it won't matter for a couple of reasons.

1. Khan isn't the defender floyd is

2. Khan doesn't have the ring generalship floyd has

3. Canelo is much more experienced now in big fights and a better fighter since the lost to floyd

Khan is no Mayweather. So study, Study, Study It won't matter. Khan doesn't have a prayer in this fight. Maybe if he fights a little more disciplined, it might be interesting but i can't imagine anything less than a Canelo KO.

Speaking to a friend in New york , he's a gym rat, the feeling is this is a cop out fight by Canelo who should be fighting GGG. and the WBC should be ashamed for sanctioning this execution when there are good middleweight contenders available, can't ague with that but what impresses me here is the fact that Khan having been knocked out at lightweight, knocked out at light welter and not really proved much at welter taking such a risk , when others wouldn't. Khan is either completely delusional or really is about to prove us wrong .
I personally don't like Khan's style of fighting the running, the clinging on and the pushing but he has got fast hands and puts his fast punchers together very well, I just can't hide from the fact that when Canelo lands Khan folds.It is a massive ask and weather it's right or wrong it's happening .
It's a Brit against a mexican so unless Khan or his mostly ridiculous fans turn me off I will be behind him but for for once they have got something to shout about regarding their man , I just hope Khan really has got something up his sleeve that we haven't witnessed yet because if he hasn't then it will be the mismatch everyone dreads.Good luck Khan , edge of the seat stuff......like it or not.
