Kell Brook is high risk, and low reward. He is a good fighter, but his weak resume, and lack of presence in the US means that

a) Non of the top welterweights are willing to fight him, on either US or British soil. If either Thurman, Porter, Garcia & Bradley were to beat Kell Brook, it would do absolutely nothing for their stock and star power.

b) Non of the top welterweights are willing to travel to the UK, because Kell Brook is not a big enough name, nor does he generate a purse big enough for the top welterweights to move out of their comfort zone, and fight Brook

c) Non of the US TV stations are excited to telecast his fights, and his lack of personality, and ability to speak coherent English means that he isn't very marketable.

The Solution:

Kell Brook needs to travel to the US, and even though he thinks he is champion, he needs to take a paycut and give Shawn Porter a rematch, or fight any of the other top welterweights on their terms. He needs to look good, and he needs to make a statement. He needs to forget about getting a big name over to the UK, because it isn't going to happen.

That fight may have been interesting when Provo was on a high but he might have had the fight beatewn out of him by now. Brook was given all he could handle by Carson Jones, and most in the arena thought Brook lost clearly, but Brook is too much for Provo at this stage.

Brook-Bizier will likely be aired on Showtime; hopefully paired with a primetime show. You add that Showtime will keep bringing him up, during the Thurman-Porter fight card, and PBC will continue to highlight his name during any meaningful 147 fight, and the attention will come.

You add that Kell Brook is starting to settle in as a PPV fighter in the UK(set back a bit by injury), and your solution doesn't make sense.

Brook-Thurman is a massive fight, with Brook-Porter II having a sellable storyline to the fight (both fights merit PPV in the UK, with enough importance stateside for Showtime to secure the US TV rights). Keith Thurman made $1.5m for the Guerrero fight; if Showtime+Sky Box Office can generate a big enough pot to put $2m into Thurman's hands, why would he not take the fight?

One thing i know is if the IBF keep making him do mandatories against average opponents as they are now, he would be better off dropping the belt and going to USA to fight.

I think everyone already considers him one of the better welterweights out there now and he beat Porter so i don't think he needs the belt. If he's serious about getting good fights then i think it might be a case of dropping it. There's plenty of good fights out there for him with our without the belt.
