Lampley and Merchant are the most biased boxing commentators of all time.....when you call a fight all your preferences go out the window....casual fans dont know the sport and should be educated, not hear them chastise the fighters instead of calling the fight.

merchant i learned to love. lampley IMO has no redeeming qualities behind a mic ....

i agree, a by-product of broadcasting should be to try and bring in new fans and bringing in religion the way jim did was not doing our sport any favors and george was all over that.

Because that welterweight he lost to is one of the greatest of all time who had previous experience above 147, whereas Khan is not spectacular and hasn't fought much at even 147. Plus Mayweather didn't get hurt on many occasions by light punchers at 140lbs.

I went against the grain on this one.
I picked khan...if I was betting I'd pick him because he is the underdog and he will pose Canelo some problems

Every close fight or loss Canelo had was with a fighter who could move well and had good speed...Mayweather, Trout and Lara

Khan isnt gonna be ****** enough with Hunter in his corner to attempt those 5-7 punch shoe shines...he'll be pivoting out of the way after 2-3 and stick his jab

Canelo isnt very agile but puts his punches to well but has to be set

Also Canelo is a natural counterpuncher...He wont impose his size, like he didnt versus the visibly smaller Cotto and also Mayweather....He did use body shots vs Lara but didnt land many telling blows because he wasnt set
