True about Cotto-Geale too. Canelo making us miss the days when Cotto was the middleweight champ

i don't think he was, either. some of the guys who beat him aren't in the top 200.

rod salka is one of the most undeserving challengers to a world title of all time. there's not a ton i can tell you if you can't look at the fighters and their records and see a gigantic gap in class.

khan's a former olympian, world champion, top 140 lber, genuinely talented athlete, etc. rod salka's ability and resume aren't in the same stratosphere.
      Basically. /this ****** thread.

salka wasn't fighting for the belts if i'm not mistaken. and khan is a ww fighting for a mw title. he would have to skip 154 lbs entirely. forget the cw, we are gonna pretend that canelo isn't gonna be really heavy on fight night? also khan has shown that even algieri can rocked him at 147 lbs. khan has a name, is true, but that's about it

"that's about it" for stuff he has over rod salka? how about an olympic pedigree, world titles, wins over top competition, speed, power, boxing skills, a trainer who talks about keeping his fighter in "the cage?"

i really shouldn't waste my time talking to you if that's really what you think. i genuinely have better things to do.

both fights were mismatches. not all mismatches are equal. i'll leave it up to you to drink the water. i've shown you where it is.

Talk about overreacting. After reading the name Salka I'm looking forward to May 7th.

world titles at what weight class? you are sounding like de la hoya comparing this fight to his fight vs manny. canelo isn't shot nor will be drained

It's absurd to compare Khan to Salka, but bringing a welterweight to a 155 catchweight for a middleweight title is equally a farce.

No not even comparable, there's almost nothing comparable to the travesty of a fight.

i'm giving you factual information. that those "facts" sell you on the idea that khan-canelo is less of a mismatch than garcia-salka should be telling.

what weight class did rod salka earn a top 50 ranking? lightweight. the fight was at 141, a weight class and an LB above that weight.

canelo's a 155 lber. khan's been a WW now for a while. what's the weight of khan-canelo? a weight class and an LB above welterweight.

the weight is very similar. the tier of the two fighters is clearly something you don't understand. and that;s fine. i'm not going to continue to insist that the sky is blue and waste my time.
