That's not what you said though. You said all top welterweights passed on him. One is retired.

Is Pacquiao the only top WW in the world? Makes no sense.

Brook, Garcia, Thurman, Porter, Bradley et al would have been top top fights.

Maybe Khan can get some more spars in with Ward to prepare...

And I don't blame him for going for this fight over his options at welterweight. That's not the problem. It's that you said all the top welterweights passed on him, which is completely untrue. Khan is the one passing on every halfway decent fight at welterweight, not the other way around.

Wtf. Khan will get massacred. He will be on his bike the whole time until he gets iced. It's not like he has premiere boxing skills like Floyd... He gets by on speed mobility and athleticism. He can't clinch as a defense either, like he did with Collazo. Canelo is too strong.

Seeing that Canelo likes to pick his spots, Khan will get some people's hopes up by seeming to out move and outwork Canelo. But then he will get caught.

golovkin has a better MW resume than cotto, canelo, for example. and he'd have been a giant favorite in those fights if his opponents were willing to fight him.

ignore than he's ducked. call him a duck for fightin willie monroe when no other fighters had the stones.

you guys really are like children
Golovkin is a wimp actually. He could've fought Chavez Jr. at a catch above 160 since most in the industry knew he has had trouble at 160, and Chavez Jr. said he'd put 1million that he'd knock out GGG. That's only above 160. It would've given GGG more money than ever and a tune up taste above 160. A non title bout. But of course GGG wouldn't want to risk that 0, which is why he never agreed to Chavez Jr.s "bluff."

Chavez Jr. would knock out GGG easily if its the Monroe Jr. breathing and gasping GGG by the 5th round going toe to toe. Do you think the seasoned LHW Fonfara hits harder than GGG?

Mayweather could have fought him in September - passed
Pacquiao could have fought him in April - passed

Those are the only fighters I consider top welterweights.

The rest are still contenders trying to prove themselves. Actually, until Floyd retired, they were doing the same damn thing as Khan. Sitting on their ass and hoping to get picked. Bradley was over there keeping quiet, enjoying being a big fish in a small pond and keeping his mouth open while Arum spoon feeds him.

What Khan is doing is commendable. Thurman and Porter finally got off their ass after they realized Floyd is retired. Hopefully Brook will do the same. He's been living off that Porter W for too long at this stage.

                Dude, that's a joke.

Khan hasn't even proved himself - The guys I mentioned are more proven than he at that weight.

I never said he was more proven. I'm just saying he couldn't get the big fights at welterweight so he moved up to get it at MW.

I should have said big fights, not top welterweights. I was referring to Floyd and Pac who passed on him.

Two big fights were on the table for him. So we know that's not true.
