All the **** De La Hoya talked about Mayweather's era, Canelo being the future, and making fights the fans wanted to see. I don't think anyone was clamouring for Canelo vs Khan.

I have a lot of respect for Khan for taking this fight. He went on and on about getting the big fight, and when it came his way he took it. It's more than can be said about a lot of fighters who want the big fights but are not prepared to take on the challenges necessary.
