Comments Thread For: Floyd Mayweather Jr. Offfered "Crazy Numbers" To Make Return

According to retired pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs) - he's being offered some "crazy numbers" to make his ring return.

Mayweather, 38-years-old, retired last September after winning a twelve round unanimous decision over Andre Berto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

don't believe the hype. there's a reason why danny garcia has been given the WBC belt and fmw can pick that champion. nice 12 rd pot shot fight vs slow flat-footed fighter. no thanks. i'll stick to free tv fights. i'll also passs on canelo or manny 2. give me fmw vs lara , a pure long rangy boxer with the same stats as him. tbe don't take those kinds of risks.

hungry for attention, nobody cares tho

boxing feels much more alive and interesting without that monotonous gimmick around

all that advertising money building up his fights then the backlash when casual fans are tricked into paying for a snoozefest, every time, wont miss that

Why would he be offered such huge sums of money if his return seems inevitable?

In other words, if its obvious he will return, he doesnt need to be tempted back with **** loads of cash.
