kovalev is more comparable to a tyson (Without the **** charges) than a floyd, they are both exciting punchers with funny but not very PC personalities

floyd was just a stale boring person in every way

What is amazing here is if everyone took a step back and looked at the characters in boxing they support, it says a lot about the fans themselves. For example, people here got amped up about the monkey shirt kovalev wore or whatever. Racially insensitive? Probably. But Adonis Stevenson is a living, walking piece of trash who has done horrible things in his life and served time for those things. Adrien broner punched a 90 year old women in the face and robbed her. Floyd beat his kids mother in front off them and served time. Yet we have people here that would rather support that garbage than a fellow who really hasn't done anything but maybe hurt a few feelings. Cmon man.

All we need is more guys to be allowed to express themselves. Too much of this PC keep the interview PF bull****. Guys like GGG and Kova have been a breath of fresh air. I almost look more forward to their interviews than their actual fights.

When you listen to music do you research the artists to see what kind of people they are? If you discover an artist is a scumbag as a person or having gone to jail for something atrocious, do you stop listening to their music?
I actually know a couple people like this, and it does say quite a bit about them.

Are we talking about music or boxing? I see the correlation you are trying to draw to discredit my statement. It holds no weight. I like kovalev. I do not like Stevenson or any other of the sports' trash. These boxers are human and have character. If they are of ill repute, I do not support them. Plain and simple. You can support a pimp, a robber, and a woman beater, but I will never support anyone like that. There are many good boxers who are also good people.

Its nice to see a fighter who doesnt thank god when he wins. As if god would want 2 guys to puch each other in the face for money, and actually take sides.

Kovalev seems blunt and honest. Has skills, is the champ and somehow gets fights made, even goest to opponents backyards, no diva crap.

Some people apply this principle to more than just Boxing, but to other Sports, the Music they listen to, even the Movies they watch. They are far more careful who they support than you or I

I got a pal who hates Sly Stallone but loves Boxing. Come to find out he watched some documentary on Chuck Wepner and afterwards he thought of both guys as criminals and wouldn't go to check out Creed when it came out.

It's not about being politically correct. Personally I don't like guy and he's a total ***hole and he doesn't even realize it. Because he's such an ***hole he's not really liked by many fans, certainly not liked by Max Kellerman, and that is probably why he is not a big draw. He makes GGG seem mellow, Kovalev makes everyone seem mellow in comparison. But he is the best LHW, even his haters can admit that.
