It's rather entertaining and good for a general buzz. Antics, trash talk, KO's, etc... Are all part of the entertainment factor of the sport. It doesn't have to happen every fight, but it does help generate more interest when it does.

Also, factor in the fact that KO-valev and Stevenson genuinely dislike each other, Wilder and Fury both have big mouths, then you have a recipe for genuine interest amongst the boxing fans after a brief war of words.
