I don't know, Thompson makes a point about Ortiz really fighting nobody. Even an old Thompson would be Ortiz toughest fight by far. Ortiz looks good in spots but you see some laziness. I don't know, I think it would be competitive. Probably tougher fight than Ustinov.

You think Thompson would be a tougher fight than Jennings, right now?

Cu****uyNYC I think so. Styles make fights. Yes, I think a 6'5" southpaw would be tougher than Jennings. Just a different type fight. That uppercut wouldn't work like it did on Jennings, for example. Southpaw would be a different look for Ortiz. Plus the size advantage for Thompson. And Thompson is very awkward. Different fight than Jennings and harder to look good. Jennings was made for Ortiz. Kind of like Frazier style suited Foreman. I don't think Thompson style suits anyone. So I think tougher than Jennings. But I think Ustinov will be tougher than Jennings, too. Size matters.

Ok, you make some good points. Now let me make some of my own. Thompson is old. Plain and simple. He is slow as molasses. I watch him and I feel I'm watching a man fight underwater. Really. Tony may be bigger, but he's nowhere near as mobile and athletic as Jennings. Not on his best day. Was Tony better prime for prime? I wouldn't argue against it. But we're talking about the here and now. I don't care what advantages Thompson may theoretically have over Jennings. Whatever Tony had has been dulled by the passage of time. Ortiz hurts him.

Shut up Tony! Tony just want to talk himself into another payday.
He knows that Ortiz would whoop his old fat arse.

Jennings is still a top10 heavyweighjt and would whoop Thompsons ass as well. Jennings is underrated and his trainer said he has more power than people think.
Its always amazing how delusional these boxingscene-fools around here are.

                    Laughable

I understand tony needs a payday, but that **** hes talkin is laughable. It would be his final check. Luis would finish him. If he comes in hot, tony is out early. Big goofball is easy target to smash with big shots. Yes, uppercut works on his big flabby ass too. Gtfoh pops.
