What do you think the chances are of Stevenson landing that money punch on Kovalev in the same way and knocking him out?
The left hook is the wrong shot to be worried about, tbh; it's that southpaw straight left.

Call Stevenson a one-handed fight if you want' his entire arsenal is geared towards setting things up for that straight left to land effectively.

If Stevenson gets a chance to set pace for the fight, Kovalev is going to sleep

It's sad, but he can. Kovalev doesn't have a tight gurad with his hands. Also Kovalev was knocked out in amateurs by that punch, was knocked down by Caparello by that punch.

It's his only shot, so there's a chance, but the fight doesn't really favor him. Aducknis' comfort zone is Kovalev's kill zone.

Yes, he can. Kovalev has a bad tendency to pull straight back, he's susceptible to those quick, ambush straight punches, and he's easily put off balance.

So it can definitely happen, but I'd sure pick Kovalev to get to Stevenson first. He's plainly a better fighter.
