floyd never fought a fighter close to the duran who beat ray leonard. let's not forget how hes struggled with jose luis castillo, who does nothing better than duran.

he woulldn't even fight druan. wouldn't fight the tommy hearns that ray leonard beat, either. he wouldn't even fight these guys. he'd retire, find another division, etc. health comes first.

Leonard is a superior welterweight, because he was a natural welterweight, Mayweather started at 130 and below...most forget....either way, thats up for debate. Leonards own brother feels he couldnt beat Mayweather. Everyone has an opinion. Saw it in an interview. There are things Leonard has over Floyd and their are things he does better than Leonard. 2 totally different fighters.

Duran's resume is not better than Mayweathers...Mayweather has beaten more champions, hall of famers, more title defenses, lineal titles, etc....Duran may have fought in a deeper era in some peoples opinion but he also lost to lesser fighters

de jesus 1 was over the LW limit and not for a title. it's well established that duran was unprepared. he got caught early and never worked his way back into the fight. they fought again twice, when duran was prepared, and you can watch those ifghts if you'd like.

de jesus is also a hall of famer, and better than any 135 lber that mayweather fought. he could move, punch, and he was tough. very underrated fighter. most people who bring him up don't even know who he is
