I don't think so.
Fighters say all kinds of crazy things to hype up a fight. It's part of the business of the sport.
If something DID happen, unless the guy used a weapon of some sort, I don't really see how he can be blamed. You have a referee and ringside doctors to monitor the situation.
When a fighter dies in the ring, it usually has more to do with his health going in than the other guy hitting him.
I recall Jimmy Garcia was severely dehydrated before fighting Gabriel Ruelas. That was probably the fault of the commission. Definitely not Ruelas's fault.Comment

First off all, change your thread title. This is lying slander aking to a tabloid magazine.
Second of all, all the race-card peddlers are now holding Kovalev to a different standard. Yeah no, "he murdered a guy in the ring" even though usually no boxer is blamed for the death of an opponent.
Lastly: If he dies, HE DIES.Comment

He didn't say this, it's just an hypothetical question
I suspect Kovalev's gonna say this to future opponents if they piss him off
there's no ¨nose bone¨, it's just cartillage and it's a myth that you can kill a person like that. Any punch to the head could be fatal if it's hard enough, though
Yeah, and he keeps fighting as agressive as ever and saying things like ¨I wanted to send him on the floor. deep sleep. but referee stopped the fight¨
Alot of fighters don't go for the killComment

He did say he was going to end Pascal's career forever. But not kill him. He also said of the first fight, that Pascal could've been killed, and that he is lucky to be alive, in response ot Pascal saying the stoppage was premature. Kovalev uses a lot "Die, kill, ending" vocabulary for a guy who already killed someone in the ring. You'd think he would stay away from that type of talk.Comment
