  • Comments Thread For: Chargin: Pacquiao-Bradley Won't Be Boring Disaster Like May-Pac

Don Chargin’s nickname is “War a Week,” a well-earned label from his heydays of matchmaking in Los Angeles at the Olympic Auditorium. That was bestowed upon him by no less than the last person to create any semblance of original radio sports programming, Jim Healy.

Technically that would be a correct statement.
    But not why think.

Bradley will be there to be hit, and hit easily.
He will continue in the fight to try to be slick, all why getting tagged by Pacquiao the whole night.

May-Pac was a "boring disaster" because for five years the media and fans made Pacquiao out to be this monster who could take Mayweather out. They made Pacquiao the chosen one when in actuality he never was and his camp knew it the whole time, which is why they walked away from the fight. People went into that fight thinking Pacquiao would make it a competitive fight and it really wasn't. That's why the people were disappointed. How can you watch boxing on a regular basis and think Floyd was going to be in a firefight when he ha fought almost his entire career as an outboxer?

Well people tried to talk Floyd into pulling a Ray Leonard, in what Ray did Vs Duran in the first fight.
Going out and choosing to brawl.
If you listen to Atlas, Tyson and others they kept saying Mayweather needs to bring the fight to Pacquiao.

Mayweather choose to fight his normal way, which was what we wanted to see anyway, we didn't want Mayweather Vs Pacquiao, just to see Mayweather not fight like Mayweather.

LOL pretty much. However, I do think this fight will be closer than the first two. Bradley has improved while Manny is declining. But Bradley simply does not have Floyd's or even Manny's boxing IQ.

Had Pac won the FMJ fight no one would be saying it was a boring fight because they would have gotten the outcome they desired.
It was not a boring fight. It was a tactical fight. The better tactician won.

May-Pac was a boring, tactical fight because Floyd was the better fighter.

There will be more action in Pac-Bradley.

Yeah. Nothing to do with the "40 mill no PPV" kind of excuses disappearing when Pacquiao showed he was slowing down. Mayweather is a genius. He waits for the "perfect" moment to fight his opponents.

The tactical part of the fight was OK but the hugging and the other illegal tactics used by Floyd was not. That is what made that boring!
