No my friend not at his gym. Nevada Partners gym and before that Golden Gloves gym when I was a kid. BUT he was never rude to me. One time though he came up to me around Thanksgiving when he was about to fight Hernandezand was like hey how are you? (This is after like a year in the same gym with like 3 words between us) I was like good thanks how are you? He reached out and shook my hand and looking me in the eye and was like Have a great Holiday with the eye contact etc. He was rehearsing on how to treat people. Like Top Rank got him coaching or something and told him to practice it on people in the gym. Nothing really wrong with that, but thought you'd enjoy the story. He was always just a wise ass to people but he never bothered me or talked to me for that matter. BUT I did sit with his family above the ring when he beat G Hernandez for his first title. My trainer gave me those tix though not him if I remember correctly. I was a kid
