Comments Thread For: Lederman Doesn't Think Pacquiao-Bradley 3 is Manny's Last Fight

Manny Pacquiao says that his third bout with Timothy Bradley will be his last fight. Harold Lederman, who will be commentating on the bout from ringside as HBO’s unofficial scorer, thinks that won’t actually be the case.

I agree with Lederman, Pac spends money and donates money to poor people like crazy, he will be flat out broke and sad to say his wife Jinkee is not bright, she will leave him once they go to the poor house.

I disagree. The Philippines is a third world country. Remittances are like the second largest contributor to their GDP. A million dollars here is like a billion over there.

While I'm sure Pacquiao is extraordinarily philanthropic, I do suspect that some of it to a degree is over-emphasized because of his finely crafted political image. I'm not saying he's foolproof financially, but I think a lot of this concern for his finances are overblown.

I think to a degree its sensationalism about him going broke but the Filipino Government is corrupt didnt they want 135 million (US) of his money? all because that woman read an article saying he had a networth of 400 million?

I dont know why Pac wastes his time in that country if he does win they might even assassinate him.

I hope Manny lose the election and even though he wins, he's a regular absentee anyway.

Sadly, I think thats what will happen. My girl is filipina and I know how it is. Its in their blood to take care of people and people think ur always rich even if ur not. For sure it takes a toll on Manny to always have people coming at him for money.

For sure he has cousin he doesnt even know about asking him for money. Sad but true. I hope he can retire and live his life wealthy. Would be sad to give all that money and end up broke...
