just watched the last two rounds of the fight. the guy didn't look to be that badly hurt. didn't really look noticeably wobbly at all. he looked tired, but aware. he had very little defense at all. he basically tried to get all the way inside as a defensive mechanism, and he'd eat punches to the body and head without even appearing like he saw them before he got hit.
the way he collapsed in his corner was genuinely scary. he just kind of slumped. you could see the panic in the faces of the guys working his corner. when a guy amkes it to his corner and then starts to lose consciousness there's massive cause for concern.
hope the poor kid pulls through. best of luck. -
Terrible news, I really hope he's ok.
What happened, anyone see the fight ?Comment

boxers in thailand sometimes take on the name of a sponsor. gonna guess that this is what's going on with his name.Comment

he had absolutely not defense. he just made his way inside to keep from getting teed off full force. his opponent kept hitting him with jabs on the way in, as flush as you can take them. dude didn't even react before they bounced off his head. then he'd eat flush uppercuts on the inside.
they were very small guys, so the clean punchyes didn't put him down or out, or even visibly wobble him, they way that number of clean pucnhes would in a higher weight class or from a puncher. the guy didn't look like he was fresh as a daisy, but i really didn't see him wobbling around the ring in the 2 rounds i watched.
then he got to his corner and basically went from conscious to totally lifeless over the span of around 20-30 seconds.Comment

That sounds scary.
Best wishes for Canachai's recovery and for his family.
I feel for the guys in the corner as well. That would be horrible.Comment
