You might be the only Golovkin fan who is honest about this and gives Ward full credit. Respect to you for that.

All the other GGG fans are mongs who don't think Ward is any good and who think it's right for Golovkin to avoid him since he would just knock him out anyway.

I'd say I'm a bigger Golovkin fan than Ward if truth be told and preferably I would have liked to have seen GGG test himself at this stage of his career instead of sticking around to face guys like Lemiuex and Rubio, it is apparent he needs to move up to be in a competitive fight but I understand his handlers want the money fights against the likes of Canelo, Cotto and somewhat the Canadian PPV market in Lemiuex for instance.

It would appear Ward has been told to move up whilst they continue to build up GGG and Kovalev needs a PPV opponent, I guess we're just put on hold again with GGG, Kovalev and Ward, for me this is the most frustrating part and one of the reasons I don't get into all these petulant repetitive recycled threads, it is a bit sad to come on here from day to day trying to defend your man why he won't step up and take a challenge when it is evident what is really at play.

I'm intrigued how DeGale goes on versus GGG, I think GGG wins by tko mid to late and then what becomes really exciting is the build up to him facing Ward if he is still able to make the weight.

You don't sound like a Golovkin fan or a Ward fan to me.

You sound like a boxing fan, who understands the game.

And the comment you made above, is gold..... "it is a bit sad to come on here from day to day trying to defend your man why he won't step up and take a challenge when it is evident what is really at play"

The difference between a fan and a fanboy is crystal clear.

        • I remember when we had the Durans Leonards, Hearns and all of those MF who understood loosing means nothing if you test yourself against the best guys out there. That was boxing.

After the Gayweather antics everyone is ducking everyone except for Kovalev and maybe a couple other guys.

Win or loose, a few years from now people will remember those who man'd up more than those who cherrypicked their way into illusion.
