He isn't a moron, but what does he know about boxing?
I would say not much, he has probably the greatest roster of fighters ever and we get some of the worst matchmaking I have ever seen in boxing.
The only fights that end up being good, usually happen by accident.
Imagine if Arum or King had the stable that he has? We would get to see Ali/Frazier and Ali/Foreman type of super fights, instead we get to see Paulie and Guerrero fighting the top guys, when we could see 10x better fights.

Haymon is worth many millions. He is very smart. I am just average for smarts and I am sure he is much smarter than I am. That doesn't make me a Haymon fan.

I don't know anything about him really. His ivy league education really just tells me that he probably isn't ******, but I wouldn't judge someone's intelligence based only on the name of the school they went to.

We ALL look ****** trying to Tell Bob Arum, Al Haymon, Eddie Hearn, Frank Warren, Kathy Duva how to run Their Business. These are not ****** people, they know how to run a business and likely went to school and have Masters Degrees for it. Why would they take advice about their business from random people on a Boxing Forum whom judging by the behavior on this forum sometimes, I doubt some on this forum even finished High School Yet

Haymon built a extremely Successful Concert Promotion and sold half of that to Live Nation for a TON. His Top Client made close to $1 Billion in Earnings during his career without Endorsements.

Bob Arum is one of the greatest Promoters in Boxing History an another Ivy League guy. Check that man Resume, it goes beyond the damn Mayweather and Pacquiao ERA. I always try to give Arum his Respect, that man is Legend. Nobody can build Stars like Bob Arum! While they may never give up the match ups we want when we want them, we eventually get them and by the time we get them these guys are the ones who walk away from those fights with a ton of money
