Yea that's initially what it stands for. Whose to say that part or that 130M wasn't a part of the new Fox deal
OK. It just seems hard to think PBC spent $130 mil on just the fights the put on the last qtr. I know they give away a lot of comps at shows but its just hard to think they spent that much.

Don't listen to idiots. No clue what they're talking about. Dude said he was a "financial lawyer"
And you don't know if it was given all at once or not or how much has been doled out.
You don't know what other ventures are in those funds.
In short, you can't make that premise.
lol well I know in the actual funds, ivy, asset, etc. there are 100's of stocks, holdings, etc. Those ones have nothing to do with pbc. This one in particular, media group holdings series H, was earmarked for PBC and had a value of $430M+. So, that money was for PBC. If they used it for other stuff and lost it, it's gone, and will potentially hurt pbc.

Yea I'm just speculating i'dk how haymon is spending the money. But I dont believe he's just blowing it fast and dumb. I know he has a plan. And now he doesn't hAve any more time buy expenses. Unless he buys more network time slots

Right...
And you don't know how much was doled out specifically for PBC
You don't know what other funds are in there
In short, you don't know. I don't know why you want to pretend it was definitely PBC, nobody else, and it's all them. Stop. No one with common sense thinks they've spent close to half a billion.

Yes and no. If we go based on the premise that that money was earmarked for PBC, then however it was lost, hurts PBC's overall bankroll. I guess we'll have to see what happens or if they have more money somewhere. Because based on that holding, they don't have much left to play with.
The issue still remains that looking at things, the way you seek everyone else to see them, discounts the fact that PBC has been selling tickets for their fight cards, PBC has been selling commercials for the fight broadcasts, Corona is putting up sponsorship money for every PBC broadcast, and Applebees/1800 Tequila/et al have been putting forward money to sponsor aspects of the fight broadcasts.
Where are the accounts for all of those other revenues? Over the course of ~50 fight cards, last year, that's a lot of money not being accounted for.
My only question is why networks would want to invest in a venture that is haemorrhaging viewers?
Granted, out of 50+ cards can pick out 5-6 individual fights that have done okay, but the general trend is clearly downwards.
Why would a network be interested?
It's live sports, PBC seems to have established the trend of having the audience grow over the course of the broadcast, and the "hemorrhaging viewers" broadcasts are already basically in line with a sports franchise that was valued at $100m per year (excluding the 10-15 biggest fight cards available, since those cards will be on PPV).

I'm just trying to make sense of what I read. I just can't fathom that Haymon spent $130 mil from Oct 1- Dec 31 last year on the shows PBC put on.
3 months is 12 weeks, If they did 2 shows a week- that's 24 shows-that's an average of $5.4 mil spent per show. Now I am not sure how many shows they produced but I know the bounce and BET shows didn't come close to that.
Anyone know how many shows PBC put on the last qtr?
