Haymons clients get paid and the fans get a GREAT fight in the process?

Question wasn't to me, but it seems pretty obvious. If you have several products to market to one specific field, bundling them is an obvious choice. Otherwise they'd be buying x guys from warriors boxing, x guys from any of these other fronts. With PBC you have an individual product that includes all those things. It also gives the product legitimacy by being under one brand.

So you agree it does nothing for PBC and just wasted his investors money in the process.

You can only bundle and sell this to CBS who owns Showtime. FOX,NBC ect can't buy PBC fighters produced by Showtime Sports. And if you are CBS why buy PBC when you can just air Showtime Boxing on CBS. Showtime Boxing is the stronger brand and you already own it. The point of the time buys is to prove you can produce your own shows under PBC and then sell PBC. He paid millions in time buys to not produce his own PBC show? More likely answer is it went to Showtime because he's losing millions each show and can't absorb these loses needed Showtime to pick up the tab to pay for his fighters.

By then Top Rank, Golden Boy are out of business and HBO only buys PBC fights so they would own the entire industry and could pay whatever they feel like.
PBC is not losing 50 mil a year! Are you kidding reports are PBC's loses in year 1 were in the hundreds of millions. Dude is blowing his investors money buying private jets

Yeah, the Garcia-Guerrero gate is pretty low for that attendance figure.

Here's some past UFC events at Staples to compare the attendance/gate:

              UFC 184 - 17,654 ($2.675 million gate)
              UFC FOX 8/4/12 - 16,080 ($1.1 million gate)
              UFC 104 - 14,892 ($1.9 million)

The Garcia-Guerrero gate is less than half of the UFC events.

Not that live attendance has been a big part of the Haymon plan in the past...his approach has always been about maximizing television money, sometimes at the expense of live gate figures.

                • Compare it to all the boxing gates and PBC is at the top of the heap.

What did Kovalev do in MGM? GGG gate was... ? Never reached $1M yet "sold out"?

                  • GGG did a live gate of over 2mil his last fight. Kovalev vs Pascal did a live gate over 1.2mil. Not sure we have the totals for the rematch this weekend yet.

Mayweather-Pacquiao and Canelo-Cotto were PBC events?
