Haymon is a very mysterious character, Im very curious to what his ultimate plan is, he is clearly taking a huge gamble a risky and ambitious move, in business you have to take risks you either fall hard or succeed becaue nothing is guaranteed.
Maybe he is just a good pitch man? he was able to get HBO for years to over pay his fighters namely Andre Berto, by giving them false promises and not delivering, until HBO gave him the shaft.
I don't know Haymon sounds like a swindler to me, but I won't just label him that yet, he is def suspect, who hides in the shadows like this refuses to do interviews, makes you wonder what he is hiding? It would be more profitable if he was talkative like a Dana White or Don King.
One purpose I can think of him buying out TV time on different networks is to see if the Networks fight over the rights to PBC and thinking he can take the highest bidder, so far it doesn't seem like any of the networks are bidding out the competition, UFC got a hundred million dollar deal from Fox, maybe that is what PBC is looking for one station to outbid the others and take PBC on a network multi year contract deal?

I've heard AT MOST they blew through 150-200 million and most of that was for the time buys which keep in mind are 2-3 year deals so those are paid for. These guys are not being paid enough to be paid anything more than that. Even Garcia-Guerrero, each of them got 1.5 to 1.2 million. Some of the fights are landing on Showtime, CBS and those are paid with rights fees. Plus you have to factor in the ad money. They keep 100% of the ad money from those time buys and they seem to be securing more and more ads when you watch their shows.
That's not to say they won't go bust, but I think some people are exaggerating the facts to fit their agenda.
