PBC is struggling I wouldn't be surprised if this is true. The cracks in PBC are clear for anyone with 2 eyes to see. They are losing tons of money, pulling weak tv ratings and every PBC event stories of all the free tickets they are forced to give away. PBC can't even afford to air Thurman vs Porter under PBC. lol That fight got moved last minute and will now be completely produced and branded "Showtime on CBS".

when was the last time anyone wrote a story about "PBC shells out free tickets" or "PBC is hemorrhaging money" or "TV ratings disappoint broadcaster"? gtfoh

Maybe, just maybe, it'll CBS/Showtime that gives PBC the network deal.

8-12 primetime CBS fight card, 15-20 afternoon CBS fight cards (used to fill in time breaks Feb-Aug, where there's no football on), with 10-15 fight cards on Showtime (of which 1-3 will likely be PPV), and smaller shows/prelim fights/side programs all used to build out CBS Sports Network/CBSOnline.

Showtime supplements it's "PBC shows" with international fights that interest US fans and expanding ShoBox to 15-20 shows a year.
