the kid has skills and has shown he can beat the best...

He was seen as a threat to GGG and the good boy nation didn't like that, he's also seen as a pillar of strength for certain race baiting posters.

Dude hasnt lost a fight in the ams or pros since he started puberty....fought in a weight class higher than his natural weight to let his home boy fight for the spot on the Olympic team(people forget he turned pro as a middleweight)....thats how good he is....he'll have no trouble at 175, and when he beats these so called killers at 175, they'll have no ammo or trolling to do.

And then, they are gonna cop it......hard..... for a looooong time ^^

If Ward were fighting another well known opponent then you'd be correct however not many people know who Barrera is so Oakland is the best choice business wise.

I did notice the bashing started when the fight was in talks and Sanchez running his mouth....personally I dont think GGG stands a chance against Ward at all and I agree with the rest fo yuor post...GGG is a good fight doe just not good enough to beat ward

Should be the exact kind of fight Ward needs to start his campaign at 175.

I just hope he hits the ground running. He should try to fight 3x a year for the next leg of his career IMO if he wants to become a big draw to more casual fans. Definitely some good names for him to fight around the 175 neighborhood even beyond Kovalev.
