Seeing as Joel Diaz is training Provodnikov I'd rule that out, maybe Robert Garcia next; he's always wanted to train Lucas.

I like that choice too. Maybe he can pick up a thing or two from GGG about fighting rangey guys with a good jab.

Working with Canelo seems to be an fulltime-job for them. I like how they care for their man even though i dont like Canelo.

So Matthysse hadn't even contacted them? Why was he talking about it to the media then?

He should go take Rios' spot at Garcia's gym. Just make sure he hires his own strength and conditioning guy.

John David Jackson, he would grain into Lucas on how better ways to counter a jabber with length. Parrying is something I didn't see Matthysse do against Postol which was surprising considering the reach he was giving up. I think Matthysse should stay at 140, he still has a shot to beat anyone there with the right corner and gameplans.

This is gonna backfired on him later on down the road. I see canelo winning a few more fights and then losing and evenually i see canelo getting a new trainer.

At 140 for sure but if he's going to 147 it gets harder for him. He's a short welterweight.

I thought that a long time ago. But the way you hear Canelo talk about them it's family. I don't think he will leave them he had the chance after Floyd fight and didn't. And they seem pretty loyal to Canelo. They are gonna sink or swim together. I respect that.
