  • Make weigh in the same day of the fight again, and all the weight cheats will be gone

Make the weigh in five hours before the fight. In that way, cheaters such as Mr 155 would not be able to use drain-weight abilities to gain advantage.

If they die because of water draining, it's their ****ing fault.

Fight in the division you belong.

Better for us. Wanna cheat? die trying. What will actually happen is that this mofos will have to fight in a superior division.

We wouldn't even know who Manny Pacquiao was if it were always same day weigh-ins.

Why? he's smaller than his opponents

Manny was one of the very few fighters who actually fought in his correct weight class when he was at 147.

It doesn't matter, according to you, so he should fight in a division where he's not smaller on same day weigh ins, instead of multiple catchweights. If he's too small for welter, then that's what the junior welter is for. Isn't that what you are trying to say? Be consistent.

But I do agree it's a good way to weed out weight cheaters.
Fed up with this catchweight **** in boxing.

It's up to him if he's that good that he want to give a little of weight advantage to his opponent, but no one should be forced to fight guys that outweights them by 10 pounds.

Point is very clear and Pacquiao has never benefited from weight draining, so I don't know why some mention his name here. The most obvious weigh cheat is canelo but there are others.

So you all agree with me. With same day weigh-ins Manny Pacquiao would be a one or two division title holder. He wouldn't have 15 years of being a massive weight cutter on his resume. He'd have like Robert Guerrero levels of accomplishment.
