  • Comments Thread For: Kovalev's Coach: Forget Roach, This is The Nail in Pascal's Coffin

John David Jackson, the trainer for WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (28-0, 25KOs), is predicting a very vicious ending when his fighter steps in the ring on Saturday night for his rematch with Jean Pascal (30-3-1, 17KOs) at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

Kovaliov's trainer shouldn't speak about nails and coffins... It's bad taste...

Pascal takes too many hard shots and then loses

Pascal if he fights smart and boxes with a plan can beat Kovalev who is nothing but a crude caveman type with a club. But Pascal fights all out every round and puts on a good show but usually loses after getting battered and outwitted by smarter fighters. Pascal isn't big on brains and that is his problem. Fight with a plan maybe once and the Haitian witch doctor voodoo warrior has a chance.

            Wanna Bet??????????

SK will retire Pascal on Saturday. I am taking bets because I haven't bet in a very long time. I am guaranteeing a KO by SK. No way Pascal goes 12 with this monster. I know boxing and fighters have behavior. They do the same things every time out. Adjustments in boxing are very minor. SK is a very intelligent fighter who is methodical in his approach. He doesn't waste much like Trinidad didn't waste much. Pascal is a power dummy who gasses and is probably on the juice as well. It will not matter though, he is getting KTFO!

Wow, they're continuously low key making death threats.

              It's not that serious.

Exactly. Very bad taste considering the circumstances around Kovalev.

Slip of the tongue from JDJ I guess but he shouldn't be talking about Kovalev putting people in coffins.

Definitely going to be fireworks in this one. Pascal will try to knock Kovalev out in the first six rounds. And Kovalev will be thinking the same way.
