  • Comments Thread For: Golden Boy Team Responds To Floyd Mayweather's Latest Tirade

It’s been nearly nine years since their own in-ring clash, but the thought of Floyd Mayweather and Oscar de la Hoya co-existing remains, to this day, a pipedream.

The long-standing rivalry between the sport’s two biggest box-office attractions of the 21st century continues to rage on, as evidenced by Mayweather’s latest public appearance. The recently retired former pound-for-pound king was ringside at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the January 23 launch of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on free-to-air network Fox.

This report may come as something new to some fans but hardcore fans are aware of previous allegations against Oscar de la Hoya throughout the years. Oscar de la Hoya was actually accused of **** several times during his career and even opted to pay an alleged victim a settlement out of court instead of attempting to clear his name.

One of the more shocking allegations was his possible **** of a 15-year-old girl in Mexico back in 1996.

LMAO.. yall acting like Oscar is an Angel. Dudes a creepy child ******ing crack user. It alsi mentions how Floyd wasnt on speaking terms with his dad but Oscar got a son he doesnt even acknowledge smh. Typical of boxingscene though.

Mayweather beats women (http://deadspin.com/the-trouble-with...her-1605217498) and De La Hoya ****s them (http://www.nytimes.com/1998/11/26/sp...d-of-****.html).

Nerds, assemble you artillery in defense of these men!

There's no need for Golden Boy to say anything anymore about Mayweather. Clearly Floyd still has a lot of issues still with Oscar that he won't let go.

Fact is Oscar has come along way and seems to be progressing with his demons. His promotional company is alive and thriving.

Floyd is trying to find a way to be relevant while not being the center of attention and he seems to be struggling with that.

Hopefully he concentrates on making his fighters and promotion company relevant but right now he has no one yet to make that impact.

Another ****** rat thug that defends a woman beating, racist, illiterate closet ****.

Do they have good WiFi at the McDonald's you're at? Taking a break from protesting your $15 minimum wage increase?

You people talk **** about fighters, completely oblivious to scumbags like Mayweather just because he's black.

“All told, seven women have accused Floyd of at least one form of domestic abuse over the last 13 years,” Friedman points out. “These allegations have led to convictions, jail time and financial settlements for domestic battery, harassment, coercion, and other crimes -- all against women.
Damn I knew he gave shantel a settlement for the kidnap and **** case she was bringing on him, but 7 women this dude has serious problems. Imagine that 7 different women he has attacked ranging from domestic violene/battery to kidnap and **** who knows what that number really is. 6 months wasnt enough this is literally a piece of shit scumbag ass human being belongs right there with the child ******ors of the world.

“Oscar has repeatedly apologized and taken responsibility for his past actions that have only hurt himself and his family," Friedman notes. "Floyd has yet to do the same for numerous women who have suffered at his hands; literally."
