Don't you always build in an excuse for the possibility of Hatton losing? Aren't you the same one who says Hatton isn't in his prime anymore?

Isn't in his prime? Lol! Are you crazy? He's one of the most talked about boxers, maybe the most talked about on the internet since beating Tszyu so ofcourse he's in his prime.

You can't change everything he's already done.
Beating an old Kostya Tszyu does not count as having done much. Floyd doesn't even have as many fights as him, yet he has wins against much better opposition. Granted, they were a while ago, but he still has accomplished far more than Hatton has. (Castillo twice, Corralles, and Chavez)

How can Hatton be past his best physically yet still be in his prime? That makes no sense...

That's a bit misleading. Whenever someone refers to a fighter being in their "prime," it usually refers to their physical ability, not their popularity. Though, usually both happen at the same time, because one affects the other.

On that note: I do believe Hatton is in his prime, both physically and popularity wise.

i don't beleive hatton takes good care of himself after his fights. when he was on espn a few months ago, he looked sloppy. in the welterweight division you have to be in tip top shape. you have to make it thru 12.

Ha. Hatton always blows up between fights, but always trains so hard that he is probably the best conditioned boxer around. He trains for 12 rounds of non-stop action.
