Mosley was 5'9", same height as Garcia, they also look similary built. Also in 2009 Mosley's power was seen as badly faded, because he could not get Cotto out when he had him stunned, and he needed 12 rounds to get Mayorga out of there, went 12 with Collazo. So he wasnt bulldozing anyone leading up to the Margarito fight. Mosley had a great chin, good but faded power at the time, he was a fading HOFer. He beat Margarito with ease. Plaster on his gloves or not, that chin was destroyed with ease. Garcia may not do the same, but he'd definitely tee off on Marg and have the defense to avoid him. Marg is no spoiler like Herrera, and he won't box/jab like Guerrero and Peterson. Marg was always a slow plodder with a good chin and good workrate. Nothing more.

Margarito would beat Garcia so bad it won't be funny. Especially the one that fought Cotto. I like Danny Garcia too. Garcia isn't Mosley and on top of that Margarito was already a defeated man before he stepped in the ring. No excuse but that's pretty obvious.

Over rated? He was a top 10 WW for a decade. How can you be over rated with that? Margarito was the top dog or #2 for several years also. What guy that is over rated accomplishes that? He was never the same fighter because he got his ass whooped by Pac/Mosley & Cotto in the first fight(although Margarito won in a war). Hands have nothing to do with that.

I didn't question anything he "accomplished". I said he is over rated on NSB, mostly by posters like you that give him extra praise because in your warped mind he made Floyd "shook" and because Floyd didn't fight him. Thing is, Margarito can do what Guerrero kind of did except for all 12 rounds. Or better yet, what Peterson did in the last 3 rounds but for all 12. I can't imagine Garcia handling that from prime Margarito, who is huge and active and had an out of this world chin. If he can walk down Cotto, Garcia is sure as **** no Miguel Cotto.

Now, if you want to say "plasterless" Margarito, well, I can't argue too much. Dude got busted, his entire career is in question.

Boxing skills do not always win fights, correct. Without plaster Danny has the speed advantage, boxing advantage, and I don't know if Margs can even hurt him.
