3 Reasons Why Danny Garcia Will Never Be A Boxing Superstar....

    1. He has no charisma.

His dad does more talking than Danny does. You see it at the pressers, interviews and media. His dad's motor mouth creates a lot of smack talk which the media wants. Danny needs to cool it with the "at the end of the day...." line.

    2. He's straight up ugly...

    No further explanation needed.

    3. He carries no nation on his back.

    He's 50/50 USA/PR.
    - Holyfield, Ali, Leonard 100% American
    - Morales, Barrera, Marquez, Chavez, Alavarez 100% Mexican
    - Trinidad, Cotto, JuanMa, 100% Puerto Rican
    - Hatton, Froch, Haye 100% English
    - Manny Pacquiao 100% Filipino

    can he even speak spanish?

i think the main thing is that he will probably lose as often as he wins when he's matched with genuine top opponents at welterweight

he's definitely not ugly, although i do find it a little weird when white guys have black guy haircuts...

i agree that his boxing style is unaesthetic, if that's what you were referring to

What about ODH 50/50 Mexican American, just sayin.

Danny has everything you need to be a great fighter but I do not think he will cross over either. He may end up being like Hagler, which wouldn't be bad IMO.

Even though he has good power he chooses to fight defensively at times. I thought he could have stopped Guerrero if he would be more aggressive and thorw 3 and 4 punch combos to body and head.

IMO danny's biggest problem is he fights to the level of his opposition. I had picked him to KO Ghost, which he did not. Should he fight the winner of Thurman/Porter, I expect him to perform at a high level.

not every great fighter becomes a cross over star, which is ok.

#4. he gonna be defeated soon. Soon as he gets matched evenly he will start losing.

They know that (him and his dad) why you think they just have no shame saying its about the money F the glory, they know they're in a very fortunate position to milk and that it wont last cause eventually they gonna have to fight real fights.

Its just hard to become a star in boxing in the USA in This day in age period. Floyd and manny are the last, boxing doesnt get much press and the promoters dont know how to market it to the younger generation the way ufc does.

I dont see garcia, porter, thurman being stars. You need a larger than life figure.

The only star in boxing right now is Canelo, but majority of his fans are mexicans, or mexican americans, if he spoke English he would easily be the last crossover boxing star.

Deontay wilder is the only american boxer with a chance at stardom, he has a personality, he is un beaten, has power, is heavyweight champion, the fight and rival to push him over is tyson fury, but the uk is not going to share him. Tyson will make more money domestically at this time. Wilder and fury are the new mayweather and pacquiao if they can build and hype up the rivalry, only thing different is both guys talk trash, which makes it a lot easier to get casuals hyped, if they remain unbeaten and fury fights in america like pacquiao did these two could be stars international ones in boxing
