really, little Jessie Vargas had him out on his feet untill ref screwed up. Tim was hurt badly by 140lber Provodnikov too.

A Pacquiao KO would end a long drought and be a fitting way to ride off into his retirement, but I just can't see it happening...

Overall Manny is obviously a much better fighter, on a different level than Bradley. But timing is everything here.
Mike R i agree. Bradley is solid and scappy , but doesn't do anything spectacular. He tends to get into punch outs with punchers and boxes with boxers. I think people tend to forget Jessie Vargas had hit out on his feet till ref stepped in early. You have to be spectacular to beat Pac. Floyd is a top 3 defensive fighter of all time. Plus his timing and control of pace is top 5 of all time as well. I really don't think Pac is as shot as people think. Just bored. Everyone looks bad aginst floyd except balls to the walls aggressive fighters. Marquez is a great counter puncher , but he looked great against Pac because Pac was the aggressor. Bradley was too quick for Marquez because Bradley would not be too aggressive against him and it was obvious he was not roiding However Pac does everything better than Bradley. I actually think Pac has slowed a little , but if the wild pac( like against Morales ) came back i think he would stop Bradley.

Plus you don't hear much about Bradley facing the Brooks, Thurmons, Khans of the world. Wonder why? He fights guys who are slow (Rios), older (Marquez).Green (Vargas) . It is called Arum matchmaking. Yet he wanted him with Canelo. Canelo is slower than Khan, Thurmon, Or Brook. Bradlye had no prayer either against Canelo.

Roach is becoming Bob Arum, more each year. Remember this one:

LAS VEGAS – Freddie Roach made the extraordinary claim on Wednesday morning that he believes Floyd Mayweather could pull out of his Saturday showdown with Manny Pacquiao at the last moment and leave the “Fight of the Century” in tatters.

Over breakfast at his Las Vegas hotel, Pacquiao’s trainer Roach repeatedly told USA TODAY Sports that he fears Mayweather will find an excuse to withdraw from the contest, despite the huge amounts of money spent on tickets, pay per views and the overall production.

When asked for his thoughts on the matchup, Roach interjected swiftly. “If (Mayweather) shows up,” he said. “I am still worried about that. I won’t believe it until I see him in front of us in the ring.”

USA TODAY Sports repeatedly quizzed Roach as to whether he was joking, or merely trying to fan the flames of controversy in the build-up to the clash. Each time he was adamant that he held genuine concerns that Mayweather could cook up an excuse to miss the fight, such as a training injury or an illness.

But why would the man known as “Money” skip out on the chance to make more than $150 million for a night of work?

“I just think he was forced into this fight,” Roach said. “He didn’t want this fight. Every fight he has had in his lifetime was one that he picked. This is the first one he was forced into and I feel he was uncomfortable. They made him take it, Showtime.”

This will be the fifth fight of Mayweather’s six-fight Showtime deal, that was guaranteed to net him more than $200 million.

Roach also claimed to have “spies” in the Mayweather camp that had told him the 38-year-old had missed three days of training last week. No such news has filtered out of the Mayweather inner circle, where information about their fighter’s training regimen and movements are closely guarded.

“I am not (making this up),” Roach added. “I know from people who were there. Word gets out and Vegas is a small place.”

Cut this **** out Roach, every single fight we hear you say Pac will get the KO and never does. He couldn't even finish off Algeri who was by far the most knockoutable opponent he's had in years.

Even Bradley has had more knockouts in the last 5 years than Pac.

Calling it right now...Bradley will KO pac. Pac should've retired.

I'm telling you Bradley is no soft touch. Manny better train his backside off, Bradley is easily top 3 in the division, and could knock Manny's block off if he isn't fit and ready to go.
