Comments Thread For: Bradley: Pacquiao Could've Picked Anyone, He Wants a Challenge

New York, New York - The history between Manny Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38KOs) and Tim Bradley (33-1-1, 13KOs) has been controversial and unanimous. The first fight ended with a much disputed split decision win for Bradley in 2012. Their 2014 rematch was a close fight for the first six rounds but saw Pacquiao pull away down the stretch.

By anyone, you mean the tiny selection of fighters under TR contract in the 140/147 division with a recognisable name?

He took Tim but made sure , no way, Crawford was on the menu...in his mind he took the lightest hitter & most beatable...

Pac is not even a 3/1 favorite in this fight. Everyone talking about how easy this fight is but no one putting their money where their mouth is I guess.

I'm glad Manny picked him, because for the 1st time, I know now, that Manny actually picks his opponents. So now, people can stop with the suggestions that he would've fought Khan, or Broner, or Crawford, but Arum made him do otherwise. This is Pacquiao's pick!

If Manny wanted a challenge he'd have fought someone other than an opponent he beat 8-4 unofficially and then 8-4 officially.

Manny wanted the fight that would pay him the most. Somehow, Bob convinced him that would be Tim. Hence, Manny picked Tim.

                  I think it's a fair comparison.
When you talk cherry picking or use the term "easy fight" it's a fight you know you can win.

And Pacquiao has proven TWICE that he can beat Bradley.
First fight 8-4. The second fight 8-4.

The odds makers or betters, don't seem to have a high opinion of Pacquiao's skill, but most of us do. That doesn't mean we are haters, we just know how good Pacquiao is and how good Bradley is.

lol I'm just saying talk is cheap, people are missing out on supposedly easy money.

That being said it is certainly a fight that Pac has virtually no risk of getting stopped in.
