I thought the fight was close and maybe Szpilka could even have won on points should it have gone the distance, although Wilder was taking over during the second half especially with good jabbing.

But it was a courageous effort by the Pole and he has heart and a better chin than I thought. Wilder caught him a few times before the brutal finish, where I think Szpilka was caught off guard during an infight.

It was no domination by Wilder whatsoever over the course of the bout. He should give Szpilka credit, don't know if he did.

Anybody got a post fight interview to post?
