    Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, who handle Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Joshua (15-0, 15KOs) has reacted to a recent article that appeared on BoxingScene.com, where Duco Events promoter Dean Lonergan claimed Joshua was running scared from a potential fight.

    I always love it when promotors say 'Nobody outside the hardcore boxing fans knows him" and then pick an opponent that is even more unknown

      He's a promoter, that's his job... to talk **** and stir things up. In terms of profile building he's a doing a better job than Parker's promoter.

            he mentions malik scott - that could be a good learning fight for joshua, provided scott doesn't mentally fold again

            joshua-parker right now wouldn't make sense for hearn and joshua, that's obvious. parker needs to work on raising his profile so that he can offer opponents enough money to get them in the ring. that means leaving australasia for starters, and possibly taking a high risk/low reward opponent like takam in order to build up some industry buzz

              Who has Whyte beat again? Kingpin would have been a good win but a while ago. The boxing world knows KJ has been a paycheck fighter for that last 4 odd years loll
