Comments Thread For: Bradley Thinks He Was A Very Different Fighter Against Rios

IDK why people want to take this fight away from Bradley. I was at this fight and I was rooting for Rios but Bradley showed me why I shouldnt bet against him. If Rios was out of shape or didnt train correctly than thats his and his trainers problem. Rios embarrassed himself and his fans with that PATHETIC performance and Tim Bradley did exactly what he was supposed to do and some! Tim Bradley KO'd a young rugged fighter that had never been KO'd before. I dont think Atlas helped at all, I think it was just Tim Bradley doing what he does best and brought it to a guy that normally brings it himself. Hell, he even made Rios cry lol #desertstorm

Manny & Tim has faced each other twice already & Bradley fared well in each of those fights! There was no beat down as most of Pacman's fans claimed would happen before each of those fights! Many hasn't beat the **** out of anybody in a long long time! I think Cotto was the last fighter he beat down. It's going to be a great 3rd fight between this two great fighters. With all the mismatches being forced onto the fans, I'm o.k. with seeing these guys go at it again. Can't wait!

Said Freddie Roach, Pacquiao's Hall of Fame trainer: "Manny was a little sloppy tonight but I was happy with his performance. It looked like Bradley was going for a one-punch home run."
Bradley said he was hampered by a right calf injury in the first round, but he did not make excuses. He was a sportsman and gave Pacquiao credit for the victory.
"I have no excuses," Bradley said. "Stuff happens. I got nothing to say about it. You can't say nothing against Manny. I lost to one of the best fighters in the world. Manny fought his heart out. I tip my hat to his whole corner, Freddie Roach and his whole team."
Said Joel Diaz, Bradley's trainer: "After the first round Tim came back to the corner and said, 'I think I tore my right calf.' I began to massage it. He was in a lot of pain from that point on and I didn't have much to work with."

The question is, should we give Bradley a pass because he sustained an injury during the fight? If the answer is NO, well then...

Bradley is about to undergo another training camp with Teddy Atlas so it's reasonable to expect that he will be even more improved this time around.
They have a chance to ingrain more of the Cus D'Amato methodology into Tim's muscle memory.
I would have preferred to see him have two or three more training camps with Teddy because then things would really start to sink in but you have to jump on the opportunities when they present themselves.
