Comments Thread For: Bradley Thinks He Was A Very Different Fighter Against Rios

NEW YORK – According to Timothy Bradley, if you didn’t notice differences in him during his last fight, you weren’t paying close enough attention.

Bradley says he applied plenty of what new trainer Teddy Atlas taught him during their first training camp together as he dominated Brandon Rios (33-3-1, 24 KOs) on his way to a ninth-round technical knockout win. Some of the improvements were subtle, but Bradley believes he is a much smarter fighter, with better defensive skills, thanks to Atlas’ tutelage.

first off Rios was never that hard to hit, second you were facing a dramtically drained version of Rios.

Tell yourself whatever you have to but come April 9th you gonna have that reality check your clown ass desperately needs.

Rios vs. Abril, Rios vs. Alvarado I, Rios vs. Pacquiao, Rios vs. Diego Chaves. When has Rios looked like a WW contender? I thought Rios would make the best of this chance for a title, yet he came in fat and bloated and got stopped from a body shot! WTF? Rios made Bradley look good, just like Geale made Cotto look good!

Exactly. I have never been impressed with Bradley except that he is a gamer. He doesn't do anyhting great , but he is solid in all aspects. Solid doesn't be even a shot version of Pac.

There were definitely differences, but I worry that those differences won't be so clear against a better opponent.

How come before every Pacquiao fight, his fans are always thinking Manny is going to destroy the opponent? Manny & Tim has faced each other twice already & Bradley fared well in each of those fights! There was no beat down as most of Pacman's fans claimed would happen before each of those fights! Many hasn't beat the **** out of anybody in a long long time! I think Cotto was the last fighter he beat down. It's going to be a great 3rd fight between this two great fighters. With all the mismatches being forced onto the fans, I'm o.k. with seeing these guys go at it again. Can't wait!

He outweighed Bradley by 15 pounds on fight night.

Pac is going to be in trouble come April.

Bradley was in the fight (Pacquiao II) before he changed his game and started looking for the KO shot. He says he hurt his calf, and I guess it's OK to use an injury as an excuse (Lol). However beating Rios proves nothing. Beating Sadam Ali would have been a better judge of his talents.
